The year 2014 proves to be a special one for our family, as we anticipate the marriage of Joe’s son, Peter, who will be wed on Father’s Day weekend. Because of this and after consideration of some other factors, we have made the decision not to have the Tollman Classic this year. We want you all to know that we so appreciate your support over the past 5 years. Your interest in the Tournament and your involvement through sponsorship, donations, and actually coming out to play golf has meant the world to us. We realize that it has been because of your love for us as a family and your love for Dad, that you have rallied each year to make every single event a huge success! We want to thank you for helping us honor the memory of our Father and we want to assure you that we still have that same desire to carry on his legacy through the Tollman Foundation.

During this transitional l year, we will be praying that God gives us some fresh ideas for a 2015 event! In the meantime, we would welcome donations if you feel you might like to continue giving to the Tollman Foundation. We will be supporting several charities and missions with any gifts that God brings to us in 2014. Checks can be made out to Tollman Classic and sent to JEK Memorial, PO Box 301, Rising Sun, MD 21911, or you can email us at jekmemorial@yahoo.com.

Thank you for your friendship and support over the years. You have truly encouraged us during a tough time of loss, and your contributions have lifted others in their time of need.

"Tollman"
The Tollman Classic Golf Tournament is in memory of a loving and dedicated Husband, Father and “Pa Pa” who went home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2009.  Jack was an avid golfer who loved to play year-round with his sons, son-in-law and friends.  He served on various committees and ministries at Grace Bible Chapel. Most recently he was an Elder and Worship Team singer. He retired after 35 years of service to the Maryland State Highway Administration where he was the Chief Administrator for Kennedy Highway and all Maryland toll facilities, (thus the handle "Tollman").  Jack’s faith, family and his involvement in the life and ministry of GBC were his priorities.  Although his presence is greatly missed - his legacy lives on.

THE TOLLMAN CLASSIC FOUNDATION

Proceeds from the tourney will benefit the Tollman Classic Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Jack’s family. The intent of the Foundation is to give generously to charities and causes that were close to the interests and “heart” of Jack Krummel. A list of these charities can be provided upon request.
